Download Help
Player Editor
Fairly simple to install the editor. For the teams though i've just copy and paste the ones from the ranking patch. To change it to your own one go to c:/Program Files/EA SPORTS/data/Teams and copy all the files in there then go to c:/Program Files/JavaSoft/JRE/1.1/bin (Note this should be where yours should be installed but i don't know) and paste your files into here. Once you've done this just click Rugby 2001 Editor v1_2 to lanch the editor. After editing your changes to the team, Go to the bin and copy and paste the team you ust edited into c:/Program Files/EA Sports/Rugby 2001/data/teams Soon i'll be releasing the icon for this to make it easier for you to lanch the Editor.
Desktop Icons
Make sure you just extract the file by pushing extract.
To change the icons is very easy. First right click on the icon which is Rugby 2001 and click properties. Then click shortcut then push change icons. Push browse then go to c:/Program File/EA SPORTS/Rugby 2001/.... the file.
I have 2 files right now online these are R2001EA and R2001PE. Here are screen shots of how to do this

New EXE files/downloads
EXE files just click on the file you downloaded and then change the directory (.....) to c:/Program Files/EA Sports/Rugby 2001, it is very important to change the directory because if you don't the patch won't be installed.
From today on wards this will be the new style for my downloads. Note some downloads directory doesn't need to be changed i will tell you on the downloads
Here are the 2 pictures to show you that the file you are downloading is a .EXE

Kits
Download the kit. Either unzip the kit too
c:/Program File/EA SPORTS/Rugby 2001/game/data/textures/players textures
or copy and paste it to that directory.
You will be asked if you wish to overwrite click on 'yes'
Teams
Download the team. Either unzip the team too
c:/Program File/EA SPORTS/data/teams
or copy and paste it to that directory
You will be asked if you wish to overwrite click on 'yes'
Stadiums
Unzip this and make it into a folder by just unzipping it to some folder. Now click on the folder until you see a folder called "Low"
stop here and copy "Low".
Now copy this folder into any stadium.
To find these stadiums go to c:/Program Files/EA SPORTS/Rugby 2001/game/data/stadia...... (and then click into one of the stadiums eg Stad Belfast and click into the folder until you see "Low", when you see "Low" paste the "Low" into this folder)
AD Boards
Unzip this to c:/Program File/EA SPORTS/game/data/textures/adverts..... and into what ever folder you play your home games eg Australia would be Tri Nations and Bledisloe Cup
Note: It would be better if you installed the stadium over a 6 Nations one so you can place your Ads just for that stadium
Logos
Unzip this to c:/Program File/EA SPORTS/front end/gfx/icons/..... and into what ever folder I have put on the downloaded folder
Goal Post
Unzip this to c:/Program File/EA SPORTS/game/data/stadia/sundries.....and into day/rain/night
